FAO provides guide for action in response to high food prices

FAO’s Inititative on Soaring Food Prices:  Guide for Policy and Programmatic Actions at Country Level to Address High Food Prices, FAO 2011

Designed for “those involved in developing action plans to address the current issue of high food prices,” this FAO guide considers interventions that can be applied in scenarios of rising food prices.  These interventions are considered along four types of action: macroeconomic policies, trade-related measures, measures in favor of consumers, and measures in favor of producers.
